The counter-cross-cultural clash called Anomie Mind was formed in 2001 by a couple of
alter-latinos from the barrios of Nueva York. Having played together in a myriad of
musical-mental movements, vocalist Maureen Dickson, now former drummer Jose Lorenzo,
guitarist Orlando Gonzalez, and bassist Glenn Aroca created this uprooted uprock
raza-punk funk-feminist folklorico fusion as a platform for their personal, always political
dreams turned nightmares, adding another angry anomie voice and resistant reasoning to the
vision and vibe of the broken language of liberation.

Now with their newest addition, David Duclos on drums, Anomie Mind continues to depict
the mutual angst due to their perpetual struggle, by incorporating the experiences, influences and
energy of this voluntarily displaced immigrant whose attitude is all anomie!
